Agreement made the 22nd April 1899 between his Excellency Sir William Robinson, K.C.M.G. Governor and Commander in Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its dependencies for and on behalf of the Government of Hong Kong (hereinafter called "the Government") of the one part and George Whigham Watling of Hong Kong, Quarter Master Sergeant of the other part.
Whereas the said George Whigham Watling in the employ of the Government as Quarter Master Sergeant to the Hong Kong Regiment (for which he is in receipt of pay at the rate of four hundred and eighty dollars per annum, the Government providing the said George Whigham Watling with uniform and accoutrements) and whereas the said George Whigham Watling hath applied for leave...
